Well known lollipop man, Graham Beaton, features in the very first of Cambridge Voices a brand new radio style interview programme created by the Cambridge Time Traveller Group.  You can hear hte interview on your computer at the website given at the end of this article.  Graham relates how he was forced to find part time work after a mini-stroke in 2001, and how watching over the safety and well being of the village children has become his mission in life. He says he doesn’t like the cold, wet winter months but as the son of a farmer he is quite used to it.

CAMBRIDGE VOICES is an audio production for anyone in the community of Cambridgeshire to share their memories of living, working or growing up in the city or the surrounding villages. ‘Helping the Community share their memories’

The members of the CTTG group, all volunteers, can meet with anyone interested in recording their memories, wherever they like.  All recordings are conducted in a friendly, comfortable environment where the interviewee can feel relaxed.
