SUNDAY 3RD MAY
On a rather blustery May morning nearly 200 runners took part in the Sixth Impington 5K Fun Run and the new Impington 1k Fun Run for Under 7s on courses starting from Histon & Impington Recreation Ground.

The Impington 1k was a great success with nearly fifty under sevens completing the 1000 metre course around Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.
The keenly fought 5k race around the Rec and farm treks around Chivers Farms saw local Impington runner Ashley Grimmer lead the way home followed by the Histon veteran runner Michael Scott .
Top three finishers;
-
Ashley Grimmer in a time of 17 mins 38 seconds
-
Michael Scott 17.47
